The final project consisted of gathering information for the proposed Bobwhite-Manatee transmission line. The 230kv line is a 25 mile transmission line that will pass through both Manatee and Sarasota counties. Our objectives were the following:

will the proposed line affect environmentally sensitive areas such as
conservation lands and wetlands?
•How
many homes would be within proximity of the proposed transmission line?
•Will
any schools and day cares be affected?
•How
many land parcels will be impacted by the proposed transmission line?
•Determine
the length
•Determine
the cost
After gathering all of the information and data needed, I was able create multiple maps to show the results requested. I was able to clip a lot of the data into the study area and also into the preferred corridor to see what would be impacted by the transmission line. I provided a PowerPoint and transcript for a detailed presentation of the results.
